Every color has its own language and conveys different feelings. Every color has certain effect and make people response in certain way, Colors can be classified I three trends Neutral, Warm, and shiny.

Neutral colors:

• Black associated with seriousness, darkness, mystery, secrecy. power, sophistication, modification, riches and mystery. It can be used successfully with bolder colors to generate good contrast.
• White innocence, purity, cleanliness, simplicity. Most popular color in web design can communicate a sense of style and give a space for content to be shown
• If you need color associated with Solidity and reliability. The color
  Gray is associated with authority, creativity and practicality
• Color associated with earth, nature, tribal, primitive, simplicity is Brown.

Warm colors:

• If you looking for Color which is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination – the color Red, to be used carefully, as it may be attractive color for visitor
• To associate happiness, warmth, curiosity, playfulness, cheerfulness, amusement, Use Yellow it may give you desirable effect but remember that over-use of yellow can cause eye-strain.
• Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.

Cool colors:

• Related with color Blue, gives calming effect on people. It evokes a sense of belonging and trust, reliability, coolness, peacefulness, tranquility, security and is often associated with high quality, faithfulness and dignity. In its negative side, it can imply alienation, sadness, passivity, or depression.
• Green represents nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money.
• Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated

Color Wheel :

The color wheel or color circle is the basic tool for combining colors. The first circular color diagram was designed by Sir Isaac Newton in 1666.

The people, who are not closely familiar with the web design main principles, choose colors for their websites according to their own taste and end up with the colors that just look good in combination with each other. It is great if you have a good eye and you feel intuitively what color scheme to choose for a website. But of course, all men can’t be good at it. So, for all those who are not sure what colors to combine for the website, I would recommend to learn the basics of color theory – it is very clear and easy to understand.

Make you Own Color theory:

Designers and not free to choose color… It’s mainly branding issue.

I think designer are not totally free to choose these colors it mainly depend on client branding, website data, and website visitors type, it’s very hard to use dark colors with site contains rich content as it my have bad effect of user readability and userability.

For a professional web design, you should pick no more than five colors that will be utilized in the site. These colors should complement one another and should not clash. If you have a business web hosting plan, you should also consider colors that reflect your company and present a professional appearance. Whenever a company decides to tackle their own web design, they can use their logo as a starting point. The colors of their logo can be the starting point for picking the colors that will be used on the site.

Let’s start with anatomy of black color! Why designers prefer black?

Let’s start with using black in modern web design, most of designer prefer to use black and dark color and is give design space to create creative, slick and modern design, but it still very hard to manage as web design not only about creative is mainly concern with userability and Content.

Advantage and disadvantage to black:

Black is conservative and match well with every color. Black is associated with seriousness, darkness, mystery, secrecy, power, sophistication, modification, riches and mystery, Black creates an impression of distinction and Main used color for design in some business i.e. Automotive, perfumes, wines, fashion, mobiles and gadgets. Because of its give design space to show creative and space for product to show his features.

However, today black is not negative in modern design but black evoke strong emotions but it can also be overwhelming when used in excess. With black Other colors are shown better and seem brighter than it would actually be on its own.

But black still be very hard color to deal with when you can heavily content website as you will have very challenge to deal with this content with black as it make the space small and affect readability .if you client branding relay on dark colors and have rich content that we have to use these colors without having these bad effect on userability. Designer may use these colors as subsidiary color, background, titles and header.
